Description

A delicious and spooky cheesecake perfect for Halloween celebrations, featuring a vibrant swirl of green and purple colors.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup green food coloring
  • ½ cup purple food coloring

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, then press into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla and sour cream.
  5. Divide the cheesecake batter into two bowls. Color one with green food coloring and the other with purple food coloring.
  6. Pour alternating spoonfuls of the green and purple batter onto the crust, then use a knife to swirl the colors together.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly.
  8. Let cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For a more intense color, add more food coloring as desired.
  • Serve with whipped cream and Halloween-themed decorations for a festive touch.
