Description
A delicious fusion of traditional baklava and creamy cheesecake, topped with honey and pistachios.
Ingredients

- 1 cup pistachios, chopped
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, then press into the bottom of a springform pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the center is set.
- While the cheesecake is baking, prepare the honey syrup by combining honey, water, and cinnamon in a saucepan over medium heat until it simmers.
- Once the cheesecake is done, let it cool, then drizzle the honey syrup over the top and sprinkle with chopped pistachios.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use roasted pistachios.
- Make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature for easier mixing.
- Can be served with additional honey drizzled on top.
