- 2 cups fresh cranberries
- 1 cup sliced jalapeños
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a large pot, combine the sugar and apple cider vinegar over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
- Add the cranberries, sliced jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, ground ginger, and salt to the pot.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 10-15 minutes until the cranberries burst and the mixture thickens.
- Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- Transfer the mixture to sterilized jars and seal them tightly.
- Allow the jars to cool completely before storing them in the refrigerator.
Notes
- For a milder version, remove the seeds from the jalapeños.
- This candy can be served as a topping for cream cheese or used in sandwiches.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 months.
