Description

A creamy and flavorful dish combining Cajun spices with Alfredo sauce and tender chicken, perfect for a satisfying dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook the chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest before slicing.
  5. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  6. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  7. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  8. Add the cooked fettuccine to the sauce and toss to coat.
  9. Slice the chicken and serve it on top of the pasta, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of Cajun seasoning to your spice preference.
  • For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half.
